Portland Hiking – Learn More about the Best Hiking Spots in the City

Mt. Tabor Park – This is by far one of the most popular hiking destinations in the Portland area because it’s an easy place to hike/walk, hang out with your kids or take your dog out for the day.

Oregon Zoo – Another great place to experience urban Portland Hiking is at the Portland Zoo because here you will also find plenty of paved paths that you can enjoy at your leisure while also being able to enjoy the wonderful animals of the zoo.

Hoyt Arboretum – It’s one of the most unique places to experience urban hiking in Portland because you will find 12 miles of trails and thousands of plant species from around the world.

Tryon Creek State Natural Area – Did you know that Tryon Creek State Natural Area is the only state park that’s also within a major metro area? At Tryon Creek State Natural Area you will find plenty of great trails to enjoy any day of the week and lots of opportunities to enjoy nature without leaving the city.

Council Crest – Here you will find a moderate hike so be prepared if you’re ready for a challenge but be sure to bring your camera with you because on a clear day at Council Crest you can also see the mountains and some of the best views you’ve ever seen
