One of the many things to love about Portland Oregon is that we have so many wonderful areas to explore all year long including Portland’s Lloyd District.
Getting To Know the Lloyd District
Although it’s well-known for the convention center, Portland Oregon’s Lloyd District is also known for great shopping, restaurants and so much more.
The Lloyd District is conveniently accessible via street car or light rail and if you don’t come here to enjoy NBA games or concerts at the Moda Center, you can also enjoy a one of a kind shopping experience at Oregon’s biggest mall.
About Lloyd District Shopping
Did you know that the Lloyd Center offers over 150 stores, an indoor ice skating rink and a 10-screen movie theater?
Besides offering a unique shopping experience here, you will also be able to find plenty of well-known stores at the Lloyd Center including H&M, Barnes and Noble, Guess, Ann Taylor and the Gap.
If you’re in the mood to hang out in more traditional, smaller shops, drive a few blocks away to Broadway Books, Kitchen Kaboodle, Elmer’s Flag and Banner or the Soho Clothing Boutique.
Where to Eat At the Lloyd District
When you’re done shopping, hanging out at the convention center or shopping at the Lloyd Center, you will want to stay in the Lloyd District because there are also plenty of great places to eat including:
- Milo’s City Café – Great for breakfast!
- Cadillac Café – Excellent for classic dinner food.
- Grand Central Bakery- The right spot to visit for lunch.
- Burgerville – Enjoy delicious burgers here made from locally sourced ingredients.
