Damian Lillard Is A True Leader On And Off The Court

Damian Lillard proved to everyone during the 2015-2016 NBA season that he wasn’t just a fourth year point guard, he showed that he is a true leader who can be counted on to lead his team to victory.

“I’m thankful to my coaches and my teammates,” said Lillard in a prerecorded acceptance speech. “I want to give thanks to the Rip City fans. You guys are so huge to what we get done here, you guys truly make a difference in every home game, even road games through your impact through social media. We thank you guys as a team, I thank you guys personally because it does mean a lot and you do make a difference for us. And last but not least, I want to thank my family and my friends because without them, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today.”

What To Expect For The 2016-2017

After a 44 win season the Trailblazers have proven that they are a competitive team and they will be a force to be reckoned with during the 2016-2017 NBA season.

Since today, June 23rd is NBA Draft day many experts are expecting the Trailblazers to be players in this years draft, even though they technically don’t have a draft pick, because with their assets (and an awesome owner) the team has the luxury to target players and create deals that are appealing to them.

If the Trailblazers don’t make any moves during the 2016 NBA Draft, fans are hopeful that the Blazers will make some trades during the off season including the addition of a back up point guard, lock down wing defender and a big scoring man to replace LaMarcus Aldridge.
