PORTLAND – One of the many awesome things about Portland is that we have great restaurants here and many corporations have been eager to establish locations here over the years thanks to Portland “foodie” culture.
One of the latest restaurants that’s eyeing Portland is Chick-fil-A who is eagerly looking forward to establish several locations in the Portland area next year.
2 Restaurants Per Year Coming To Portland
In a recent interview with oregonlive.com Don Ikeler, director of restaurant development in the west region for Chick-fil-A said that his company is planning on opening up to 2 restaurants per year in the Portland area over the next several years.
Coming In March 2016
“Two Portland-area Chick-fil-A restaurants will open in roughly March 2016 in Hillsboro’s Tanasbourne area, 2865 N.W. Town Center Dr., and at Clackamas Promenade, 12520 S.E. 93rd Ave., he said. A Chick-fil-A restaurant in Vancouver, Washington “will probably be the next location.”

Not Open On Sundays
As with the other Chick-fil-A locations across the United States the patrons of the Portland Oregon locations can expect the same policy of the restaurants staying closed on Sundays during the year because their corporation believes on giving employees at least one day off guaranteed per week.
Good For Portland
Chick-fil-A has certainly been controversial over the years due to the personal beliefs of their CEO but, love them or hate them the restaurant will certainly being more jobs to the Portland area and with the minimum wage possibly being raised to $15 per hour soon having more Chick-fil-A restaurants is a win-win for Portland.
